What alternative to Fulcrosupra?

Blood tests done show the following values: hdl at 24; triglycerides 245. What worries me is the low good cholesterol. I would like to know if there is an alternative to the drug Fulcrosupra which is full of side effects. Thank you.

Dear Giampiero,

among our dietary supplements, the one that most likely may be right for you is Cardiol Forte.

Cardiol Forte is a dietary supplement containing EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids from highly purified and concentrated fish oil, Artichoke extract titrated to chlorogenic acid and luteolin 7-glucoside, Monacolins from fermented red rice, Olive extract titrated to Hydroxytyrosol and Coenzyme Q10.

Completing the formulation are. vitamin E, piperine and folic acid. Specifically, the powdered extract obtained from the leaves of artichoke Cynara cardunculus L. is titrated to 10 percent chlorogenic acid and derivatives (biophenols) and 2 percent luteolin 7-glucoside and derivatives (flavonoids). The biophenols in Artichoke extract have cholagogic, choleretic and hepatoprotective activities. In addition, the flavonoids present inhibit cholesterol biosynthesis and protect LDL from oxidative damage.

Among the benefits of omega-3s, the intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA per day contributes to normal heart function. To increase your daily intake of omega-3s, you can combine Cardiol Forte with up to 2 pearls of Omegor Vitality 1000. We remind you that dietary supplements are not intended as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle and are not direct substitutes for medications prescribed by competent physicians.

We generally recommend that you consult your treating physician who is aware of the medications you are taking, possible interactions with the ingredients of the dietary supplements you habitually consume or would like to add to your diet, and is aware of your clinical course. He can certainly consult with you for guidance and advice on the possibility of using our dietary supplements for your problem.

I remain at your disposal for any further questions you may have on this matter.
