Ask the Pharmacist

Are there Vitamins E, A, D in Meaquor and Vitality?

Dear Sir,

I would like to take the opportunity of your request to also answer questions from other customers who ask me about the presence of vitamins in Omegor Meaquor products and Vitality. I will begin, of course, with your question.

Vitamins and Meaquor

On average, there are 4 mg of natural Vitamin E in each capsule of Meaquor 1000:

  • vitamin E is added to the formulation because, due to its antioxidant power, it helps to preserve the quality and freshness characteristics of thefish oil--ensuring high standards of efficacy and purity to omega 3 supplementation;
  • not surprisingly Meaquor 1000 has been awarded the 5-star IFOS (International Fish Oil Standards) certification, a prestigious award attesting to the highest concentration of EPA and DHA active ingredients, purity and freshness of omega-3 fish oil supplements.

Vitamins in Omegor Vitality

Other customers ask about the presence ofVitamins A and D in Omegor Vitality. Vitality is devoid of Vitamins A and D-because in its formulation, the content of these vitamins is below the limit of quantification:

  • For vitamin A, the residual content is less than 0.021 µg/g
  • For vitamin D, it is less than 0.005 µg/g.

Why are there no vitamins A and D in Omegor Vitality?

The raw starting material, namelyraw fish oil, is definitely a source of Vitamins A and D. However, before being used in capsule production, raw fish oil undergoes technological processes of molecular distillation and purification that bring the residual content in Vitamins A and D below the limits of quantification. I remain available for further information.

Sincerely,
