Information and differences between Omegor Vitality and VitaDHA
1) Can Vita DHA also be taken by adults? How does it differ from Omegor Vitality?
2) Omegor Vitality 1000 mg: what is the recommended daily dose?
3) Are Vita DHA and Omegor Vitality complementary or is one a substitute for the other?
Thank you and best regards
Dear Raphael,
VitaDHA is a liquid formulation of 1250 mg DHA and 360 mg EPA, flavored with lemon.
The ratio is in favor of DHA: supplementation with this omega-3 fatty acid is particularly useful in particular situations and times of life. It is definitely indicated for thefeeding of children with inflammatory conditions of various kinds and/or with neurobehavioral disorders:
- ADHD
- hyperactivity
- dyslexia
- developmental disorders
- anxiety
DHA is also essential for the proper functioning of vision, in children as well as adults, as it is a key component of the photoreceptors in the retina. In the adult it finds application in delaying the progression of retinitis pigmentosa. The intake of DHA is then recommended:
- in pregnancy, to ensure optimal development of fetal nerve function;
- in lactation, when the woman's DHA reserves decrease dramatically and with that increases the risk of postpartum depression.
The dosage is 1 sachet per day, taken singly or added to yogurt, white or citrus. Omegor Vitality is an ultra-pure supplement from fish oil. Each pearl contains 420 mg of EPA and 210 mg of DHA in the form of highly assimilable and digestible triglycerides. The ratio of EPA to DHA here is 2:1, an ideal proportion of the 2 Omega-3 fatty acids useful for:
- Promote cardiovascular health by rebalancing HDL cholesterol and triglycerides;
- Promote the reduction of inflammation, which in some cases is subclinical and manifests itself through complaints of various kinds, such as headaches, malaise, dry skin, digestive disorders, anxiety, and depression.
The recommended dose for Omegor Vitality 1000 is 1-2 pearls per day, taken just before a main meal. I remain available for further clarification.
Sincerely,
