What Omega-3 supplement for a 13-year-old boy with dyslexia and attention deficit disorder?

Good evening, my 13-year-old son suffers from dyslexia and attention deficite: which Omegor product (and in which dosage) is best suited for this situation? He is a boy who is 1.73 meters tall and weighs 65 kilograms. 2 years ago he was treated, for ADHD disorder, with Ritalin. However, I discontinued this treatment because I was noticing states of moodiness and nervousness at the end of the effect. I thank you in anticipation of your feedback. Regards

Dear Mr. Simula,

VitaDHA is the most suitable product for your child. It is the supplement that has the highest intake of docosahexaenoic fatty acid (DHA) on the market: 1250 milligrams per dose.

In Italy, Dr. Michele Germano successfully treats particularly difficult cases of ADHD disorders with liquid VitaDHA (with 1 sachet daily). Michele Germano is an internationally renowned child neuropsychiatrist, a specialist in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza hospital in San Giovanni Rotondo (Foggia). You can make contact with him directly for any of your concerns or questions, or on the most appropriate approach to follow in your case:

  • tel. 0882/41.62.10
  • neuroinfantile@operapadrepio.it

The dose of VitaDHA I recommend is 1 sachet per day, to be taken singly or, preferably, diluted in cold foods:

  • yogurt, white citrus or strawberry;
  • spreadable cheeses.

I recommend a minimum integration period of 2-3 months, which can be extended according to individual needs and requirements. I hope I have been helpful and remain available for any clarification.

Sincerely.

Dr. Rosaria Ramondino Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
