Chronic inflammation at age 12: which omega-3?

Dear Katia,

to intervene in the process of chronic inflammation, I recommend that you check with your pediatrician or specialist about the possibility of supplementing your child's diet with VitaDHA liquid:

  • VitaDHA liquid is a dietary supplement in single-dose vials made from the highest quality purified fish oil, which provides a high dosage of omega-3 DHA;
  • the introduction of omega-3 with supplementation may promote potential upstream regulation ofinflammation intermediates;
  • could therefore also help reduce the inflammatory process-that is, the process related to inflammation.

In particular, omega-3 DHA promotes the production of resolvins, endogenous molecules that are responsible for interrupting the inflammatory response when it is no longer needed-and could therefore potentially contribute to a normalization of the state of chronic inflammation. The recommended dosage for VitaDHA liquid is 1 vial per day to be taken as is or added to fruit yogurt or warm or cold foods and drinks. The fish oil contained therein is deodorized and lemon flavored and tastes absolutely pleasant. The minimum period ofsupplementation I recommend is at least 2-3 months. I remain available for further information.

Sincerely,
