Can omega-3s in male infertility help?

Hi, I would like to know if there is an omega-3 supplement that helps improve sperm quality, which has been weakened by various infections. Thank you

Dear Sebastian,

According to some studies, DHA is a useful substance for sperm formation and protection and male fertility. So supplementation with DHA could be important and useful in cases of male infertility. In particular, I give you below a link to a Spanish study: https://nuabiological.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Articulo-NuaDHA-Mejora-esperma-2018.pdf in which the results show that an optimal DHA intake may have a beneficial effect at the level of spermatozoa. Specifically in the study, 1500 mg of DHA was administered daily for 10 weeks.

Based on the above, I recommend VitaDHA liquid, a dietary supplement rich in the omega-3 fatty acid DHA. The formulation contains an even purer and more natural fish oil produced by a refining process that preserves as much of the oil's natural form as possible, keeps it stable for longer, and gives it a neutral taste. In addition, the formulation has been supplemented with the addition of lemon flavor.

I recommend 1 vial per day of liquid VitaDHA for at least 2-3 months of supplementation, taken before a main meal as such or added to cold foods such as yogurt or cheese spread. Supplementation can be continued over time without side effects.

Sincerely,
