High cholesterol: which natural product is most helpful?

I will preface this by saying that my mother has always had high cholesterol. I from 2010 to 2016 successfully treated it with a natural red rice product. Then from last year it was no longer enough and her total cholesterol spiked to 270. I then treated it with a "mild" statin . However, I am eager to return to a natural product that is however effective what do you recommend?

Dear Pier Paolo,

I recommend a combination of the products Cardiol Forte e Eulipid two natural supplements that will help you reduce cholesterolemia. Cardiol Forte is a dietary supplement that contains as much as 10 milligrams of Monacolin K, a natural statin derived from fermented red rice, in each caspsule, which helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. Cardiol Forte is rich in the omega-3 EPA and DHA from fish oil and olive fruit extract, which is rich in hydroxytyrosol that counteracts oxidation of bad cholesterol. In addition, the product contains as much as 100 mg of coenzyme Q10 to counteract any side effects of red rice. Together with B vitamins, CoQ10 helps regulate energy metabolism.

Eulipid is a dietary supplement in tablet form that contains neither fish oil nor natural statins. Its main component is Berberine, a plant-derived substance that facilitates the "capture" of cholesterol by the liver, extracted from Berberis aristata a plant used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. Berberine, as shown by several scientific studies, exerts not only an action on circulating lipids but also a hypoglycemic effect similar to that of metformin, so it may be a viable alternative for the treatment of dyslipidemia and metabolic syndrome.

In addition to Berberine, the formulation of Eulipid sees the presence of other natural molecules such as resveratrol, bioflavonoids, policosanols, and coenzyme Q10 that are useful in balancing blood levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides, making it a suitable choice for keeping cardiovascular health under control. In addition, the combination of berberine and bioflavonoids reduces postprandial hyperglycemia in overweight individuals. The recommended daily dose is one tablet of Cardiol Forte and one tablet of Eulipid, both to be taken preferably before dinner. I remind you , in any case to follow a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains and to limit the consumption of cheese, sausages and eggs.

Sincerely,
