ADHD: what product for an 11-year-old boy?

Dear Luigi,

my advice is to consider, together with the doctor following the boy, supplementation with DHA supplements. Often, in fact, boys affected by attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) show a deficiency of omega-3 DHA in the blood, and, according to some recent studies, treatment with this fatty acid can improve typical ADHD symptoms. In any case, I recommend that you do not consider dietary supplements as a therapy, but only as a nutritional support. The most suitable product in this case is. VitaDHA liquid in single-dose sachets, a supplement rich in the highest quality fish oil. In fact, there are 1800 total milligrams of omega-3 in each sachet, of which:

  • 1250 mg DHA
  • 360 mg of EPA

VitaDHA liquid has a neutral and pleasant taste so it can be easily consumed, either directly or added to beverages, yogurt, smoothies, juices and juices, etc. The mechanism by which omega-3s are able to improve symptoms in hyperactive and concentration-disordered children and teens is not yet well known, but it is thought that they may act directly on brain cells. In fact, omega-3s are present in the membranes of neurons, in particular DHA is a key component of the membranes of these cells, and it plays a key role in the transmission of nerve signals. Numerous scientific evidences suggest that omega-3 DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain and visual function with a daily intake of 250 mg.
