Quality Policy

U.G.A. Nutraceuticals is a company highly specialized in the research, formulation, manufacture, and marketing of essential fatty acid supplements, particularly long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, with pharmaceutical-grade purity.


The work is based on state-of-the-art research and technology while respecting the environment. We carefully select our suppliers and raw materials, scrupulously control every stage of production in order to always guarantee the consumer a superior quality product at the right price and reliable service.

Thanks to our know-how and partnerships with leading companies in the industry, we successfully pursue our corporate mission: to spread the culture of pharmaceutical-grade "omega-3", precious allies of our health.

U.G.A. is ISO 9001:2015 certified and pursues an ongoing commitment to keep its organization, approach, internal processes and customer offerings aligned with recognized standards as outlined within the System documentation.

The quality of the services provided is a direct consequence of the way the facility operates, which in order to be successful, must pursue the following strategies:

  1. Increased market share also through continued attention to changes in consumers' food and lifestyle styles;
  2. Openness to listening to the consumer (suggestions, preferences, etc.).
  3. Speed in delivery and fulfillment of what was agreed upon with the customer;
  4. Provision of controlled, quality and environmentally sustainable products;
  5. Growth of skills related to internal staff.

 

 

The Quality policy set out above, is reflected in the Company's identification of internal and external factors and stakeholders relevant to the Quality Management System, through an analysis of strengths and weaknesses, leading to the identification of risks and opportunities and related actions and quality objectives, measurable and quantifiable through precise indicators, which will be made explicit and monitored during the Quality System Review phases carried out periodically by senior management, at least once a year.

All company managers are required to implement the Quality System, disseminate awareness of it and systematically monitor operational activities, so as to ensure that all personnel operate with adequate competence with regard to the quality requirements of the service and the operating methods defined in the established procedures.

This policy will be discussed and, if necessary, revised at the Management Review, at least once a year.
