I suffer from colitis, can omega-3s help me?

Good morning, visiting your site I found a wide range of supplements. however, I can not understand which one is the most suitable for my needs i.e. Vit D deficiency (blood value =13) and especially colitis, diarrhea, chronic intestinal bloating. can you point me to the most suitable one? thanks

Kindest,

I thank you for contacting us. For the colitis you suffer from and the problems related to vitamin D deficiency, different solutions are needed. Vitamin D3 deficiency. Our line of dietary supplements focuses on the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA from different sources such as fish oil, algal oil and krill oil.

A Vitamin D3-only dietary supplement, D3 Drops, has recently been launched. This is a suitable supplement in cases of Vitamin D deficiency (25-OH vitamin D value less than 20 ng/ml) revealed by analysis. My advice is to consult your doctor to determine the dosages to be used.

Colitis. On the other hand, in cases of chronic colitis-as inflammation of the intestinal tract-supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids can be helpful and beneficial, as it helps to reduce typical inflammatory symptoms and"turn off" the inflamed intestines. The product she could take for potential benefit to the colitis she suffers from is Omegor Vitality 1000 (30 or 45 capsule pack) following this dosage:

  • 2 capsules per day
  • For a period of at least 12 months.

You will be able to observe the benefits of Omega-3 supplementation progressively over time, after the first few weeks of intake. I remain available for further information and invite you to contact us again if you have further needs.

Sincerely,
