Meaquor: where to get it? Is it similar to Eskim/Esapent?

Dear UGA, I have been taking your product Omegor Vitality for some time now. Now I would like to buy Meaquor, as my doctor (so he explains) cannot prescribe the specialty medicine (Esapent) for me in the absence of overt pathology. How can I find it? It is neither in pharmacies nor in herbalist shops in Sciacca. Certain of your kind reply, I send cordial greetings.

Dear Mr. T.,

First of all, thank you for your interest in our products.

I can confirm that our Meaquor is equivalent in ingredients and dosages to the drug you mentioned (Esapent or Eskim are the names marketed in Italy), offering a cost about 50 percent lower (for the same number of days therapy). Regarding Omegor Vitality, it actually provides the same active ingredients (EPA and DHA) as the drug and Meaquor, although in different concentrations and ratio:

  • 1 pearl of Vitality 1410 provides min 630 mg of EPA+DHA, in a 2:1 ratio;
  • 1 pearl of Meaquor provides min 900 mg of EPA+DHA, in a ratio of 0.9 to 1.5;
  • 1 pearl of the drug provides min 850 mg of EPA+DHA, in a ratio of 0.9 to 1.5.

Available for further clarification, I extend my warmest regards.
