When is it useful to take Eulipid?
I wanted to know when is it useful to take Eulipid? Thank you, Alexander
Dear Alexander,
the product Eulipid is a supplement based only on plant extracts and nutrients without fish oil. The main active ingredient in the formulation is berberine, which acts by inhibiting hepatic uptake of cholesterol. Berberine is also effective in controlling postprandial blood sugar.
Eulipid is indicated for cholesterol control in individuals who cannot tolerate statin treatment and in all situations characterized by the co-presence of multiple cardiovascular and diabetes risk factors known as metabolic syndrome.
The recommended dose for Eulipid is one tablet daily to be taken in the evening near dinner. Supplementation with Eulipid should be for a period of at least two months after which routine testing should be repeated to verify the effectiveness of the supplementation. In some cases the Eulipid product can be combined with Cardiol supplementation to act on higher cholesterol levels through two different mechanisms of action and without increasing the daily dose of monacolin K.
