Ask the Pharmacist

Is Omegor Kids advisable for a 6-year-old girl?

Dear Madam,

supplementation with Omegor Kids is especially useful and effective during school time.

Supplementation with DHA is recommended: in fact, such Omega-3 helps to promote the proper psychophysical development of the child by going to form the membranes of the central nervous system. There is no maximum age to make cycles of intake: up to 13/14 years of age Omegor Kids is definitely advisable.

As an alternative to Omegor Kids, you can have your child take 1 pearl of Omegor Vitality 1000, a supplement of Omega-3 fatty acids EPA (420 mg/cps) and DHA (210mg/cps) available in pearls.

The oil in them is extremely pure and deodorized. If your son finds it difficult to swallow the pearls, he can puncture them and take the contents directly or add them to yogurt or cheese spread. To aid intake and minimize possible fishy aftertaste, it is advisable to keep the supplement in the refrigerator. I hope I have been helpful and invite you to contact us again for any further information.
