Concentration deficit, which supplement do you recommend for my child?

Hello, I am the mother of an 8-year-old boy who since kindergarten has always shown hyperactivity although pediatricians and teachers have always said he was within the norm of a lively child. Starting school we realized that he has attention problems and we requested a consultation with a psychotherapist. her report showed that for now he does not have specific learning disorders but he is on the attention threshold regarding dyscalculia. It turned out that he has difficulty with memory and concentration. i would like to know if Omega 3 and vitamin b supplementation would help him. We are very much in difficulty in dealing with this situation. I thank you for your attention and look forward to your reply.

Dear Claudia,

According to numerous research studies, the consumption of omega-3, and especially DHA is associated with improved behavior and symptoms related to memory deficits and ability to concentrate, in children who show school difficulties. This happens because DHA is present in very high amounts in the cell membranes of neurons promoting their fluidity and communication.

If your pediatrician also agrees, therefore, the most suitable product for your child is VitaDHA in single-dose vials, a supplement rich in the highest quality fish oil. In fact, there are about 2,000 total milligrams of omega-3 in each vial, including as much as 1450 mg of DHA and 330 mg of EPA.

The recommended dose for VitaDHA is 1 vial per day, consumed as is or mixed into yogurt, smoothies, or cold or lukewarm drinks. I remind you not to consider dietary supplements as therapy, but only as nutritional support.

Sincerely,
