Are Omega-3s helpful in reducing skin dryness?
I am 60 years old and have very dry skin. My pharmacist recommended that I take Omega-3. What do you think?

your pharmacist's advice is perfectly valid. Lipids are essential to ensure the structural and functional integrity of the skin.
They play an important role at the level of the stratum corneum: they enable the proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes (the structural cells of skin, nails, and hair), thus making skin more hydrated and healthy, and hair stronger.
The most suitable product for her is Omegor Antiage, a formulation rich in active ingredients with adjuvant effects for:
- skin trophism
- microcirculation
- resolution of inflammatory phenomena
The main nutrients are the Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA and the Omega-6 fatty acid GLA from borage oil. Several scientific studies have shown that the combination of Omega-3 and Omega-6 is particularly beneficial to:
