Hypetriglyceridemia and hypercholesterolemia: can Omegor Vitality be the right choice?

Dear Paola,

the product best suited for your son is Cardiol, a supplement rich in active ingredients and vitamins that can promote the health of the cardiovascular system. In fact, the Omega-3s in the formulation help to:

  • Reduce blood triglycerides;
  • Promote the elevation of "good" HDL cholesterol;
  • Stabilize heart rate and rhythm.
Fermented red rice, bioflavonoids, polycosanols, tocotrienols and vitamin B3 work synergistically to effectively promote LDL cholesterol reduction.

Thanks to folic acid and vitamin B12, Cardiol also helps reduce levels of plasma homocysteine, a metabolite with damaging action on the vascular endothelium. Antioxidants such as resveratrol, CoQ10, sesamin and piperine help counter oxidative stress, a major cause of cellular deterioration.

The recommended dose for Cardiol is 1 pearl per day, taken just before dinner for a period of at least two months. To increase Omega-3 intake, Cardiol can be combined with Meaquor, a formulation extremely rich in Omega-3 EPA and DHA (900 milligrams of EPA and DHA per pearl) specifically designed to reduce blood triglyceride levels. The recommended dose for Meaquor is 1 pearl per day, taken just before a main meal for at least 2 months.

After 2 months, it would be appropriate to redo a generalized check of all blood parameters to verify the effectiveness of the supplementation. I recommend that you discuss your son's situation in more detail with the attending physician, evaluating with him the possibility of using Cardiol and Meaquor. Attached you will find the fact sheets of the two products that you can have your doctor review in order to arrive at a more informed choice. I remain available for further information on this matter.

Sincerely,

Dr. Rosaria Ramondino Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
