Omega-3s for a healthy heart?
Dear Lucius,
I thank you for writing to me. Omega-3 fatty acids are valuable allies of our health at all ages, and our company specializes in the formulation and production of omega-3 dietary supplements to meet different health needs and requirements. However, dietary supplementation with omega-3 should be understood as a nutritional support with nutritional and physiological effects to promote the regular performance of the body's functions and rebalance deficiency states. In fact, our diet today is deficient in omega-3 so deciding to supplement one's diet with omega -3 is definitely a good choice. Individual omega-3 requirements depend largely on the lifestyle and diet followed:
- a person who has a healthy lifestyle and takes care of their diet by consuming fatty fish such as sardines, anchovies, and salmon 2 to 3 times a week may not need to supplement their diet with omega-3 fatty acids;
- a person, on the other hand, who consumes little fish in his or her diet and manifests various complaints such as headaches, malaise, dry skin, digestive disorders, and anxiety may instead be deficient in omega-3 and manifest these symptoms of subclinical inflammation.
The product I recommend you try is Omegor Vitality 1000 (30 or 45 capsule packs), a concentrated and pure dietary supplement of only omega-3 from fish oil. Each batch of Omegor Vitality 1000 is IFOS certified so it is a product with guaranteed purity and quality. In addition to being highly concentrated (each capsule provides 420 mg of EPA and 210 mg of DHA) it offers significant advantages in use because of the triglyceride form in which the omega-3 fatty acids are present, which makes them more easily absorbed and digested by our bodies. With a view to providing health claims for proper supplementation of the normal diet, the European Commission by EU Reg. 432/2012 and later by EU Reg. 536/2013 recommended the following intakes and benefits for omega-3 EPA and DHA:
- 250 mg EPA and DHA daily contribute to the maintenance of normal heart function;
- 250 mg of DHA daily contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function;
- 250 mg of DHA daily contributes to the maintenance of normal visual capacity:
- 2 g of EPA and DHA daily helps maintain normal blood triglyceride levels;
- 3 g of EPA and DHA daily contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure values.
For general supplementation and preventive purposes, he may use a dosage of 1-2 capsules per day to be taken near a main meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
I remain available for further information.
Sincerely,
Rosaria Ramondino Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
