Do depression and elevated anxiety states depend on elevated cholesterol and triglycerides?
I am a blood donor. I often find myself with triglyceride and cholesterol values a little above normal. I suffer from depression and manifest high anxiety: do these 2 elevated values affect the nervous system? What do you recommend? Assured of your attention I extend my best regards.
Dear Ignatius,
triglyceride and cholesterol levels do not correlate with mood disorders, such as anxiety and/or depression.
In your case I recommend supplementation with Omegor Vitality 1000, combined with avaried and balanced diet as well as moderate but constant physical activity. The dosage is 3 pearls per day, taken before meals. The treatment will help you reduce triglyceride levels and improve mood.
In fact, research has shown that depression and cognitive disorders are often associated with low levels of Omega-3 in the blood. Hoping to have been of assistance I remain at your disposal for any further questions or clarification.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jessica Lolli Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
