Ask the Pharmacist

Which of your supplements is recommended for skin and hair?

Hi, I have been using Omegor Vitality 1000 for quite some time. At first 2 pearls a day, then 1. My goal is to cosmetically improve my skin and hair. To achieve this goal how many pearls should I take daily? Thank you

Dear Roberto,

Omega-3 fatty acid supplementation is particularly helpful in achieving its goal, as lipids are essential to ensure the structural and functional integrity of the skin.

They also play an important role at the level of the stratum corneum: in fact, they allow the proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes (the structural cells of skin, nails and hair), thus making the skin more hydrated and healthier and the hair stronger. The most suitable product in her case is Omegor Antiage, a formulation rich in active ingredients with adjuvant effects on skin trophism and microcirculation. They also promote the resolution of inflammatory phenomena.

The main nutrients are the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA and the omega-6 fatty acid GLA from borage oil. The anti-inflammatory effect of GLA has also been studied to counter excessive skin dryness, skin aging and atopic eczema. Important nutrients with strong antioxidant activity (Resveratrol, Curcumin, Tocotrienols and Coenzyme Q10) are present in the formulation of Omegor Antiage, which can counteract the formation of free radicals and prevent the inflammatory and oxidative processes that underlie skin aging and loss of tone and elasticity.

The recommended dose is 1 pearl per day to be taken before a main meal. If you want to increase your daily intake of Omega-3, you can combine Omegor Antiage with 1 pearl of Omegor Vitality 1000. You can also take the 2 supplements together as a whole. I hope I have been helpful and invite you to contact us again for any further information.

Sincerely.
