Cholesterol, what is the difference between Cardiol and Cardiol Forte?

Can you explain to me what difference there is between CARDIOL and CARDIOL FORTE capsules. I thank you and stand by. Henry

Dear Henry,

Cardiol and Cardiol Forte products both possess complex and specific formulations to act on normalizing cholesterol levels. We could say that the difference between the two products lies in themore or less "strong" action of the supplement, that is, in differently calibrated formulations.

Cardiol

In case of border-line cholesterol with values above 200 mg/dL and up to 239 mg/dL-the most suitable product is definitely Cardiol. Cardiol contains omega-3, plant extracts such as fermented red rice source of monacolin K (3mg/cps), polycosanols, Citrus bioflavonoids, and B vitamins to act on normalizing blood cholesterol levels and cardiovascular protection more generally.

Cardiol Forte for higher cholesterol

Instead, in case of higher blood cholesterol values (>240 mg/dL) i.e., more severehypercholesterolemia, it is advisable to opt for the product Cardiol Forte. Cardiol Forte has a higher dosage in monacolin K (10 mg/cps)-the natural statin useful for maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels. It is then enriched with natural Vitamin E and hydroxytyrosol, a polyphenol from the olive tree, to protect blood lipids and cells fromoxidative stress; it also contains high-dose Coenzyme Q10 (100 mg/cps) to make up for the deficiency that occurs when treated with stat ins or statin-like drugs.

Tips for posology

For both products, the dosage is one capsule per day to be taken in the evening before dinner for a period of at least 2 months in conjunction with a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. After the two months of supplementation, it is preferable to repeat the analysis to verify the effectiveness of the course undertaken and monitor any progress. I remain available for any information and I recommend that you inform your treating physician if you decide to start dietary supplementation with Cardiol or Cardiol Forte-because the physician must always be informed of any dietary arrangements or supplementation we intend to implement especially if in conjunction with pharmacological therapies.

Sincerely,
