Ask the Pharmacist

Stress and mental fatigue, which supplement do I choose?

Dear Doctor, In the last period but also at other times related to conditions of particular psychophysical stress, I notice the onset of great physical fatigue related to changes in mood and sometimes even some episodes of slight mental confusion. I have performed various examinations with checking of blood count, blood sugar, etc. and everything is in the normal range. I thought, therefore, of taking some supplements that, I hope,will help me get through this period. I wanted to know from you which supplement(s) are most suitable in my case. Thank you

Kindest,

mental and physical stress puts a strain on you. Considering the picture you describe, to overcome this period and in general for extra support against stress the product I recommend you try is Omegor Krill. Omegor Krill, at a dose of 2 capsules per day, shows that it can have significant effects on the state of psychophysical fitness-it could therefore prove to be a potential support for the normal functioning of memory, concentration, and resistance to psychophysical stress.

  • Omega-3 in phospholipid form, found in Krill oil, selectively accumulates at the level of the nervous system and is directly assimilable.
  • Krill oil, extracted from the Krill-a tiny crustacean that inhabits the plankton of cold Antarctic waters-contains theantioxidant astaxanthin naturally.
  • It is a rich source of organic phosphorus in directly assimilable form;
  • it is advisable to take Omegor Krill close to breakfast or at lunch, in any case in the early part of the day: in some people the presence of the phospholipid phosphatidylcholine may cause a slight excitatory effect.

To support natural antioxidant defenses and additional physiological support against psychophysical stress, Omegor Krill can be combined with Omegor Antiage supplementation, at a dosage of 1 capsule daily-or 1 capsule every other day. I recommend that you consult with your physician about the advisability of starting this supplementation, also to evaluate together its duration and dosage especially if in conjunction with pharmacological therapies.

I remain available for further information.

Sincerely,
