About Omegor Kids: intake cycles, dosage and contraindications

I would need to receive more information about Omegor Kids:

1) What is the recommended age for taking the product?

2) What is the minimum age for taking the product?

3) What is the maximum age for taking the product;

4) Better on a full or empty stomach?

5) better to do cycles of administration and then stop? with what timing?

6) Does it have contraindications in general?

Dear Paul,

Omegor Kids is a supplement that contains 200 milligrams of algal DHA. It is designed to support a child's physical, intellectual and behavioral growth.

In fact, theomega-3 fatty acid DHA is one of the basic constituents of the membranes of cells in the nervous system. It also participates in the development of visual abilities. Other components of the formulation include:

  • Vitamin D3, important for calcium and phosphate fixation of bones and tooth enamel;
  • Vitamin C, an antioxidant useful for boosting the immune system.

This is made very pleasant by the presence of honey, a natural energy source with known antibacterial, emollient and soothing activity.

It is indicated from 1 year of age.

Ideally,intake should be startedaround age 2 to 3 years, when the child has a more varied diet, making 2-3 month cycles and observing 30 days of breaks between treatments. Supplementation with Omegor Kids is then particularly useful and effective during school time.

There is no maximum age, because it is still a nutritional supplement: however, it is recommended up to age 13/14. The formulation of Omegor Kids is liquid, available in single-serving sachets. It can be taken individually, perhaps as a snack replacement, or added to white yogurt.

It does not need to be taken on a full stomach-this makes the product very convenient because it can be taken anywhere and at any time of day. There are no particular contraindications, but of course it should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the components.

I hope I have provided you with all the information you wanted.

I remain available for further questions.

Sincerely Dr. Rosaria Ramondino Pharmacist and Pharmaceutical Chemist
