What omega-3 supplements for a 4-year-old child?

What Omega-3 containing products can be used for 4-year-old children?

Dear Daniel,

 Omega-3 DHA supplement ation is generally recommended for children. our Omegor Kids is a liquid form supplement containing 200 mg of DHA from algal oil.

Its formulation contains the recommended amount of aDHA to promote physical, intellectual and behavioral growth in children. In fact, theomega-3 fatty acid DHA is one of the basic constituents of the membranes of cells in the nervous system. It is also involved in the development of visual abilities. It is enriched with:

  • Vitamin D3, important for calcium and phosphate fixation in bones and tooth enamel;
  • Vitamin C, an antioxidant useful for boosting the immune system.

This is made especially pleasant by the presence of honey, a natural energy source with known antibacterial, emollient and soothing activity. The dosage is 1 sachet per day: to be taken individually, perhaps as a snack replacement, or added to white yogurt. Administration on a full stomach is not necessary. Treatment cycles of 2-3 months can be made, then observing 1 month's break between cycles.

Supplementation with Omegor Kids is also particularly useful and effective during school time. As an alternative to Omegor Kids, you can supplement with 1 pearl per day of Omegor Vitality 1000, a product containing the omega-3 fatty acids EPA (420 milligrams/capsule) and DHA (210 milligrams/capsule). The fish oil in Vitality pearls, which is ultra-pure and deodorized, has obtained IFOS certification

The beads can be pierced and the contents administered singly or mixed with yogurt or spreadable cheese. To aid intake and minimize a possible fishy taste, it is advisable to keep the supplement refrigerated.

I cordially greet you and remain at your disposal for any clarifications.
